The Word Made Flesh
I got this tattoo about a year ago, it’s the title of Jonathan Safran Foer’s novel (one of my favorite books).
I love it; reminds me of a time in my life where everything seems illuminated, and i discovered some of the things that makes me happier, and all of those things are connected by that book:
"It has shown me that everything is illuminated in the light of the past. "
It also, stands for a Milan Kundera’s quote in the Unbearable Lightness of Being:
"In the sunset of dissolution, everything is illuminated by the aura of nostalgia, even the guillotine."
