The Word Made Flesh
This is a tattoo from the cover of the book “To kill a mockingbird” by Harper Lee. It was done by Jason Kelly at Memorial Tattoo in Atlanta, GA. When i save up some more money I will add some leaves to the tree.   To kill a mockingbird has always been my favorite book and I remember reading it as a 14 year old for the first time. I specifically remember thinking: “if I ever have a daughter, I’d like her to be just like Scout.”  Nine years later and I have a four month old daughter, who we named Scout Harper. I got this tattoo as a reminder of preserving innocence, striving for justice, and to always remember never to judge.  All of the characteristics I pray my daughter will have.
