I will be moving away from my hometown soon, halfway across the country. I wanted to memorialize my mom somehow before I left, and “Where the Wild Things Are” was a very important book in my childhood, and in my relationship with my mom. This is the last line of the book—a reminder that there is always a place I can call home, and someone there who loves me.
