The Word Made Flesh
This is my double literary tattoo: it’s part of an engraving of Don Quixote by José Guadalupe Posada (“Calavera Don Quijote y Sancho Panza”), and “Pierre Menard, autor del Quijote” is one of my favorite short stories by Jorge Luis Borges.
The photo is from the day it was done, it has since lightened up a bit, showing more of the fantastic shading done by Megon Shore at Under the Needle in Seattle.
